Description Here's my newly finished Astarte Bolt Pistol. It's the same resin cast bolt pistol as my Imperial Guard version, but this one is painted in a more traditional Astarte color scheme - gunmetal, black, and gold details. I also gave this one some weathering to add a little more realistic look and feel to the prop.

Hahaha, no unfortunately it just sits there looking menacing

I have plans for making one that shoots nerf ammo, but it'll be a while before I tackle that project (if I ever do)

That looks very awesome! Maybe the best Bolt pistol prop I've ever seen. And I've seen those a lot because I'm interested in cosplay. I'm going to cosplay some characters from the 40k universe, but now I'm just testing some materials, which works the best and such.. I tried to use that resin cast too. It smells really bad and makes me feel dizzy even though I used respirator mask and kept the window open. It also gave me head ache later..
That handle fits very well! I envy you because you have found so fitting handle for that gun x) Those toy guns I found at the store were not so good for the base of the pistol, but I'll keep looking!

The first prop I'll try to make is the chainsword : D

I love the Tau and Eldar designs and will definitely be making relics from them at some point, and chaos....yes chaos...I feel the warp overtaking me, it is a good pain!
