Poly Modelled in Maya and composited on a Photoshop painted backdrop.I've just always been a fan of fantasy & dragon art so this was a labour of love over a couple of free weekends..
Maybe I'll do a series of dragon images, all based on colour? (this of course would be the blue dragon). Maybe..

Ok, this talent makes me boot my arse for not keeping in art gear. If you have time, I have many questions. How was texture done? How do you make color and depth pop? Composition and textures are beyond my skills. I can do good dragons, actually , to some, great, but his piece is what I post on my faves as an example of what I strive to do. Any suggestions on muscle shading and texturing? I'm pushing my skills, and they sadly lack in these major areas. I can do the composition, and dragon anatomy, it's the blasted color and shading I suck at...at present. Any rips, tools, critiques welcome.
