Description Used photoshop to do some post work to this one. Extra info at the bottom.

Original Image [link]

Class: Recon Drone
Control: Automated/Remote

Height: 120.2mm
Weight: 163.4 Grams
Max Jumping Distance: 9.76 ft
Power supply: hyper solar panel (Charges extremely quickly and gives large amounts of power)

The idea is that it has a camera in the middle which can rotate to any position. Firstly the sphere inside the glass casing rotates horizontally and the full glass case rotates vertically. The legs are strong and are capable of launching the bot to a maximum of 5 feet in the air straight up or distance in any direction of around 9.7ft. It is made of a lightweight but extremely tough material capable of withstanding gunfire when in defensive position. Power is supplied by a hyper solar panel located on the under side of the glass casing, which rotates to face the light source. Charging takes 1 to 5mins 1 minute charge lasts 2hrs and 5 minute charge lasts 72hrs. As the solar panel may be left in sunlight the power supply is endless.

(ADDED)

TEXTURES : have been changed, logo/badge added.

MODEL : The Sphere in the center can now raise and lower, if you look at the right side of the body you'll see a small metal runner. not sure if I should make it higher or not to make the camera able to raise all the way up. The problem with that is it must be stationary to fully raise or the top part of the legs hit it. The walk cycle animation is ready, just need to get the design right.

Created in 3DS Max 9.

Model time: Including repeated changes to design 2-3&1/2 hrs

Render time: 1hr 2mins

Hope you like it.

Thanks for having a look.

your textures are not too bad, may be show the metal of the joints less shiney , and the joints themselves a lil less like old chemistry laboratory stands.

Man that's awsome, i could never do effects that good.

The model gose perfectly into th forground, and the reflection is superb, along with the tone of the pic.

If you're going to re-render it you could add some antialias because some edges are jagged...IT's great anyway.

Thanks, yea I just had a look, It does resemble it.lol You've got some nice low poly models in there, I really should limit myself. I end up in the millions. Then my computer won't let me render.

Yea, I've been concentrating on the model right now, I have a lot of textures for a scene, but I just can't think of what to do.

Thanks again.
