Description Haven't sculpted the shoulder/chest/neck armour yet. I'm aware the lack of it does make it look a lot less like the character. Anyway, I might sculpt it later on. If I feel like it.... u.u

Great looking sculpt, nice difference in the textures.
You should cast him in resin.

Hello! Sorry for the late reply. I've been busy with school work...
I would like to answer your question but I'm afraid I don't quite understand what you're asking about?

You speak Portuguese? Kind of like Spanish so I'll try...If I remember--

Ah! Claro. ^^ Solo puedo hablar un poco de EspaΓ±ol...Por lo tanto, voy a escribir en InglΓ©s.. Perdon.

I made the texture by first smoothing the surface with my fingers and a "colour shaper tool" and a brush. Then I poked with a rounded tool a very small one (kind of the size of a pencil-tip) until I got it like I wanted. ^^

That looks like a real head, only miniature!
I think my favourite part is his brow and lips, I really love how you sculpt lips. It looks so... real
Haha I remember this from awhile ago, he is looking fantastic
May I ask how you did the pores on his skin? It makes it look like real skin.
I can't wait to see what he looks like with his fancy armour on ^^

Thank you so much Casey! I'm glad you like it thus far. ^^
The skin texture, well I actually poke it with a pointy tool until it get like that... Haha

You have finished school some weeks ago now haven't you? All classes end well? And have any plans for the rest of the summer?

what kind of clay are you using by the way?

Aaaah, since I still haven't tried to learn to mold things, I guess not...? I just felt like sculpting it. Sounds a bit odd perhaps but these plastic materials freak me out I don't really want to handle them. Fumes and whatnot. I mean I only have my own bedroom to work in...So that's not really good I think...

I'm using super sculpey as usual. It's a mix of the firm and the normal pink one. The consistence gets more workable then. Maybe the lightning makes it look a little odd in colour though, in one of the middle pictures...? ^^

I am going to have to pick up some sculpey soon again and see if I can
get close these these results. I haven't used the stuff sense I started to learn
how to sculpt.

You should check out smoothon.com and order ya some silicon, and resin.
Start making some kits I think you would do great in sales
with your work. There is a couple pieces I'd like to own.
Smooth on products are safe by the way. I been doing this stuff for 9
years in my bedroom. Just dont use any sealants in your room, like
crystal clear and dulling spray.. it smells horrid and will drive ya nuts. (causes cancer too)
sometimes I have to use it in my room cause my sculpts are to heavy to get outside.

Sculpey is basically the only clay I use (besides from plastiroc sometimes when I need to attach things and fill holes.)

You know you make me very curious now... May I ask which ones it is you'd like? Γ–.Γ–

Way back I thought of perhaps looking up someone who could cast and I just make sculpts of things but it didn't really get anywhere.
.........Honestly I've been sitting here for quite a while now, trying to decide what to write as an answer to you here... and I see it does only end up just a bunch of excuses of why I haven't leant to cast. I perhaps ought to spare you that.

haha its no problem. Certain things are tough to learn. Its
a progress. I had to learn how to mold cause I knew nobody around me.
I went through my trails and errors plenty of times, times I would have bloody
hands from loosing my cool during molding. Thinking I was doing it wrong,
and the sculpture was ruined.. But in the end, I was doing fine. Its one of the easiest
things to do in sculpture. When you have time, I would recommend trying it out. If you
need any help, pointers ect. Just hit me up.

I really like this darth malgus as well as your pin head piece. You have many
others I wish were in kit form. That giant alien piece you did is insane.
but would need to be cut up for molding. You do have a lot of work, I think
people would be interested in purchasing.

It'll most likely be some time until I try, if I do will say... Thank you for offering help if I have questions though. I appreciate the consideration. ^^... I'm sorry I can't offer much assistance in return though. Haha only thing I presume I can offer any help with is if you'd need any help translating a Swedish text or something.... Which probably isn't very likely to happen, now is it? ;9

haha dont worry about it I don't mind helping people. Specially
skilled ones. And if I did think if something, I would let ya know.
But I dont usually do the whole "I do for you, you do for me" kind of thing.
I'll help were and when I can, if someone needs a hand

It's very nice of you anyhow.
I do to a certain extent follow the repaying good actions, give/take principle. ^^Not as an obligation or anything but to those I feel like, whom I consider have helped me. I think good things ought to be rewarded in a sense, if possible. Just taking doesn't feel quite correct. ^^
