Tips:
Automatic windowborders/taskbar color base on your background or if you want to change it manually, rightclick on desktop - Personalize - Color
Looks cool if you're using more than one wallpaper.
When the wallpaper changes, the color of your taskbar and windowborders will change too. Just make sure your color on personalize is set to automatic.
Download "[link] " to disable the Ribbon bar in explorer (If wanted)
If you buy it, you will always get free updates and you can also make a request.
You will also receive some skins like rainmeter skins, etc...
Will try to update it everyday to get the vs more mature.

don't know, why you guys now want us to pay? And to be honest, your themes for win8 are in no way comparable to vs in win7 like those of solmiller or ragnarok or zeusx etc. You guys are just in the state of making experiences in win8... No new icon-sets, no new dlls, no new concepts of vs... just changing some colors of the min-max buttons and some border-tweaks... So what shall we pay for? For your playing around??
Do some really exiting, fresh and unseen - than I wil pay for it....

But I don't really understand why you suddenly want money for it? Until now, there wasn't even a question for it. Others did damn awesome work in styling without even thinking of selling it. Suddenly as the OS changes from win7 to win8 you want money. Perhaps you can explain why until these days hard work was given to the public for free and now we shall pay for it??? Perhaps you can enlighten me to see the changed conditions, that selling now is necessary and just.

I have a job (videoediting, photolayout, computerrepair) everyday. I already put my precious time on making vs for windows7 just to share it for free to all who want them. Now i think i deserve some money. Don't worry i will make some free vs (for win8) but can't tell when.
On iNotifier [link] we made it free instead of selling it. we've put alot of time to build it but no one donated 
also i'd put donate link on my (win7) visualstyles but until now no one donated. i didn't receive even 1$. lol
I didn't make those vs just to earn money. What i'm talking about is a consideration. even 1$ is appreciate but until now no one donate.

But I haven't understood, why you change your practice just in the beginning of the win8 release and not earlier or later - independently from the new OS?? Is there something in win8 that demands the new habit of selling VS??

but maybe because i'm a bit tired. hehe some problems; in making vs for win8 is sometimes i got blinking blackscreen. all i can do
to make my pc work again is to push the restartbutton on cpu. it happens when i'm testing and saving my vs progress. it's really annoying and waste of time. but i think it's normal because wsb is in alpha stage.

P.S. And of course: If you sell your styles they should be without any issues. You make yourself vulnerable and produce yourself more work, because sold styles should be with help, advise and quick fixes - and there shouldn't be bugs and faults. Before, there was an agreement, that we, the useres, are testers and count while using a new and untested vs on braking our system. Now, your sellings should be technically in a state that there are no more of former bugs and testings... Be aware if you sell things we buyers have a right to get proper products and proper customer care....

I have no doubt about that
But still, if you are selling things there is no security, that we, the buyers, will treated in a right way, that we may get our money back, if you - the producers - do cheaty (shitty) deals. It's just believing and trusting - nothing else, no fixed and just grounds in this kind of trading. It's that principle, why I never will buy a VS!!! Because there is no institution, nothing, that will help me to get my rights. And you know as everybody else here does (you know the spammers and cheaters here), that there is no reason to trust... I don't know you personally, I have never worked together we you... (that's not meant personally but principally, if you get the difference).
I prefer the risk to destroy and rebuild my system to get some awesome free (maybe buggy) style than to loose my money

Honestly i don't understand why people always complain about paid VS. It's an offer, and noone is forced to accept it. So where is the prob?

It's not really a good idea to make us pay for a VS. You should let us try it... There must be a way to do this, I think.
It's a great VS. I don't really like W8 cuz it's just W7 mixed with WP7 but if I had it, I would certainly buy this
Oh, and, I think there is a way to pay with DA points. I've seen this somewhere, so you could try to do the same for this

All of us have choices on our own. We have different choices. It's my choice if i will sell it or not. I have alot of good reasons why i'm doing this. For me, it is a really good idea. lol
