I really enjoy the mixing of the blues with pink-red tones.
Very nice and interesting style too, I just wonder as to why Autumn is looking sadly upon Winter's birthday.

Thank you so much! That is sweet of you. I don't understand the stigma surrounding a self-suggest. Why should I wait around until someone suggests me, and how was I to know I would get one! To me it is exactly like submitting your work to a gallery or an illustration blog.
I guess I felt like Winter was entering "her" season and so Fall would not be necessary, so she's bummed.

Yeah- I mean it's not like someone else takes the steps for you to walk, (that might sound confusing;;lol) so I don't see the harm in helping your own self out. Exceptionally with the fact that it was just a suggestion, not like it guaranteed you. So it should still be considered a worthy! People are just... silly...
It's like groups on here. Can wait for someone to add it to a group or you can join and submit your own art.

Aah, I see. I really like the way you drew Autumn's legs. With the way she's sitting, it almost looks as if she's about to fall back and exit the picture - which fits the theme of Winter entering 'her' time and Autumn leaving.

No, she didn't give a DD for herself. She suggested her own piece and I accepted this suggestion - and I didn't have to accept it.
There's nothing wrong in suggesting your own pieces, especially when they don't get any attention - this work had only 4 favs before I featured it, quite too few for such nice piece. If noone else suggests it, who will?
