Hey Ravital,
I Just stumbled acros your gallery and I really enjoy your work. This piece in particular. I was wondering if your workflow was strictly maya for creating your mesh or if you used a sculpting package as well. From looking at it I would assume there was some Zbrush work done but that's just speculation.
any way great work

Hi,
Thanks glad you liked it.
This was done in Maya and Photoshop. No Zbrush at all.
I created the hi-poly version and baked it on to a low poly version all done in Maya.
All the Normal map details were created in Photoshop after the initial bake.

I would like too but I haven't really worked on down resing a model. It is about 32,000 tries at the moment but the majority of the poly count is in the nuts and screws :3

really nice organic flow, not something I'd usually consider with any sort of weapon. Good job!
