better put this up before I forget about itI wanted to take a quick break from commissions and projects to relax and refresh. so I decided to draw Gem beat to shit.
kind of inspired by the RP I've been doing with a friend, where we've silently agreed to make the lives of our characters complete and utter hell in every way. Gem get's mentally and physically broken all the time, but so does my friend's characters so we pretty much break even on how terrible we can be.
this was fun to draw, I tried a looser style of inking and coloring, not sure if I like it though. I probably should have cut her up more.
sorry that my art flow is so slow lately, I'm just bogged down with a lot of work right now.

Yes actually, it's a pretty normal occurrence for her. Regeneration is a wonderful skill.

nah nah, quite the opposite, she hates pain, but doesn't feel it often. her kind grow a huge pain tolerance when they've gone through it enough times. getting thrown through a jet engine a few times is a good way to build up a high tolerance fast.Β
unless she's cut with silver Β however, that shit still hurts for her.

Okay, let me see if I got this right.. Cuts, blood, organs are showing, one eye's missing, and one arm's missing. Yep, something is wrong. XD

This probably isn't the worst she's gone through, more of a mental break than a physical one. Either way, not very fun for her.
