"Remind me to kick James in the teeth next time I see him."

It seems drawing Gem bloodied and in pain never stops being fun for me.
I've wanted to draw Gem with full robotic attachments for awhile now, she's always had some robotic implants but nothing fully robotic.

In the story James thinks it will be fun to see how much Gem squirms without her eye and arm, so of course he rips them off and hides them. She then gets a pretty shitty arm and eye replacement, they cause horrendous headaches and malfunction all the time, her eye likes to bleed if she moves it too quickly and the lack of control annoys her
She also goes into sever debt after getting them since it's almost an insurance problem. Normally Reapers and Death Dealers get good replacement parts for pretty much nothing because of their insurance, but since she's a Co-Reaper, the lowest tier available, she has to use almost all of her money. Most Co-Reapers go really quickly into Reaper tier, but since she's so unconventional and clumsy about her work, she's stayed at an extremely low level.

anyway, story building I guess, it's so much fun to do really detailed robotic shit.
For some reason this really grossed and creeped my mom out, I find it really funny since she's seen me do so much worse. She says it has to do with the eye and how the arm looks skinned. Very interesting.
