Good to hear you worked it out yourself, because I was in vacation last week so I could not have helped you.
I'm glad to hear that your wife loves the painting. Her interpretation is totaly true

Hi
There actually is a copyright on the picture as on every picture in the internt.
I often get request to use this one. I usually ask back for what kind of organisation / idea / website it will be used but seldom someone writes back.
Maybe this time?
Greetings to Canada from Switzerland

Thank you, Raro for your answer. We intend to use your picture to incorporate it into a logo that will accompany some of our spiritual documents. Here is the logo design:

All of this is indirectly related to the Urantia organization: www.urantia.org and the upcoming Magisterial Mission.
Thank you and we will wait for your authorization before using it.

Hi Michel
Thanks for writing back. That shows me you are realy interessted in using the picture.
But I do not wish seeing my picture used by any organization because I originally painted it in a mode of personal love for Jesus Christ.
I fear that if I allow an organization to use the image, it will automatically be linked to an organization in the future. I do not want that.
I hope you can understand and accept this.
Friendly greetings
Raphael

Hi Raro,
Cant believe its been almost 5 years since you made this and I'm just seeing this. Great work. This totally shows everything I believe, Christ laying down his strength for our weaknesses - Lamb; then with that same strength, he defends his love for us - Lion. This is too much. Please may I use this for a design in my online shop?Tring to raise money for college. I dont know what I can offer you in trade. Pls!

Hi Raro,
I was wondering if you'd let me use this for my logo for my blog, its about reading, writing and living purposefully? I was hoping to turn it into watercolour if you would allow. It's so beautiful what a wonderful job you have done.

Actually i believe you did well choosing black even if at first you didn't realize other color, because that represents perfectly our relationship with God when we accept Jesus, so the Lamb is Jesus when He gave Himself for the world/and also in relation to the Heavenly Father we are the lamb too and the Lion is God/Jesus, and that relationship brings light to the world. So outside of that relationship, in the world, it's dark, it's black, while when you see the lamb/lion you clearly gets a vision of light, which only comes by the Holy Spirit in us through Jesus, so when He steps in, everything shines and gets brighter! Glory be to God for inspiring you to do this, congratulations my brother!

Wow, I really like this. The textures of both the lamb's wool and the lion's mane are intense. The softness of the picture is encouraging as well, though I'm wondering why you chose black as the background. While it showcases the animals' colours, I wonder if a lighter background such as blue might have lent more of a feeling of peace. Still, it's very well done.

To be honest, I never tried an other background color. I started to paint on the plain black, which I often use to start from. But I guess, there realy could be a more supportive bg-color than black!
