Edit: Hey, good news guys! My entry was accepted as the first runner up! If you're attending, look for it on the small program book (u v u)It's just past the due date so I shall post.
I don't have a very good feeling about this since it's not shiny or animu enough //sigh

Oooh I really like this one. I think that the palette and composition make it work really well as a cover design. And it has this urban wintery feeling to it which reminds me of city life in downtown Toronto. The representation of Canadian culture is only subtle and there's nothing in this that jumps out like a cultural stereotype (such as sushi and beavers oh noes;; ) and for that I LOVE IT.~
The fact that it's so different from the other covers makes it a favourite in my opinion.

Thank you so so much! I'm glad you understood exactly the mood I was going for LMAO. I did include another Canadian thing, which is the Nanaimo bar Momiji is eating (a subtle dessert reference, I know, and I didn't even know it was a Canadian thing until I researched for this lol). It's gonna be in black and white on the cover but I'll have the full colour up in the art gallery.

The program book is for Anime North, and you get it as part of a package when you attend. Are you thinking of attending AN?

Yep they sent emails. I don't know anything about other contestants or other winners unfortunately haha. I'd really like to know who it is but it looks like I'll find out when I attend the con ;3;
