I have the Iruini set but lost his bronze Bohrok chest-piece
Now that I look back on it, the odd time-period when the Toa were half Rahi was actually kind of interesting, but I didn't really think much of it as a kid.

Interesting. You made these only recently, judging from the sideways-holes thigh pieces on Iruini. (came from Vastus, I believe?)
Do you have any plans to attempt making the rest of the team? They'd be really impressive in this build.

Yes, they're from Vastus. The only other Metru-green MOC I havehas no need for them.
You mean, the rest of the Toa Hagah? I guess I could, and that'll look pretty cool - not sure if I have enough pieces to pull it off well though.

Hagah have always been my favorites.

Ah, I see... the Hagah / Toa Metru designs were a huge step up from the Toa Nuva the year before, but personally I think the shoulder joints are too weak - they can only move 360 degrees and it's difficult to hold them there, while the newer ball joints can spin in any direction (almost) and are much stronger. That said, you still made a good Toa team, with a nice balance between equality and variation. Why don't you post them on dA?

I was planning on it. Only thing is, I'll have to take new pics of them, because my computer crashed a couple months ago, and I have to wait for a sunny day because SUNLIGHT ROCKS for taking pictures.

They're certainly more bulked up compared to the originals. I like the design, but the only problem with it are the heads. They're just a little too close to the body. Other than restrictions due to part colors, they're a very well made pair.

I think it's more because the shoulder armour is too bulky, but yes, they do have that no-neck look to them.

Particularly in Norik's case, since he's using the silver Avohkii, but there's not much you can do about it.

These are nice improvements to the crappy ones lego did. I'm very intrigued by their torsos and shoulders. How well do their shoulders move? The legs could use some more armor on the thighs, but the torsos look awesome and depending on how well the shoulders and arms can move, those ate really nice to.

Yeah, I'll admit Norik could do with some more thigh armour, but I can't add anything to Iruini since I don't have any more gold pieces (If I gave him green armour, would it ruin the 'green-skin gold-armour colour scheme?). Their shoulders are slightly hidered by the armour, but they can move almost as much as any other Toa.

Ah that sucks for iruni. HMMM well considering that I think the regular toas shoulder/arm movement sucks that's not too good. I've been trying to find a good shoulder movement scheme that is more compact then what on O-jin and Midori. If you don't know what I'm talking about go back and look closely at O-jin's and midori's shoulders.
