Yeppers. I did the sound effects for the first live-stream and have been working on some animated videos which will be out later, right now there in the Concept Art phase.

Cool! I'm really a fan of their livestreaming and the interaction with fans. It's really great to share our own thoughts on Bionicle and Lego, without getting too serious or analytical.

By the way, what are your thoughts on the Mask Contest so far? The BCC brought that up last time, because a lot of veteran fans feel the contest is rigged or something.

Awesome! It is think it's nice to have a fun atmosphere to discus these epic things in because, well, without the fun, we'd be missing the point! Fun is what it's all about! And as we grow as a channel, more things are coming. Like for instance a "Gregcast" review of a Spherus Magna era tale is on the way, and I finally got some pencils to help me continue on with my universe-amalgamation of animated videos that I hope will really bring the laughs. I've recently got the pencils I needed to continue my sketching, as pens are hard to sketch with (At least for me). Now I can start working on full-body concept art of the characters and so much more!

I remember that podcast. I tried to join but the lag ruined my sound effects and I don't have a mic, and on top of it all, conversation was REALLY moving, and my sound effects would probably have gotten in the way so I had to sit that one out.

I think the reason the Mask Contest has such... well... let's say uninspired masks, is because they HAVE to do six a week, and the best are saved to be in the running for the Golden Masks. That'd be my guess anyway. I also happen to  have a Mask of Jungle pic that is sure to win. It's much better than most winners, anyway.

Yep, that's what's important about enjoying Bionicle. Not that we're not taking the brand seriously, it's just too cynical to expect Bionicle to be this dark and gritty storyline; this is one of the main reasons I like the Okoto reboot!

And like we were all saying, one of the main reasons veteran fans don't seem to like it is just because they hold the original too dearly. I really wish an influential channel like TTV spent more time reinforcing a positive outlook on this reboot, instead of endless news and autopsies, just so that fans would stop treating the relaunch like sacrilege. I know it's not perfect for a reboot, but I'm hardly complaining after the refreshed look and feel, along with the many Easter eggs towards the original.

I never cared for those autopsies. Indeed, and with the new books coming out, people won't be able to complain about lack of story for long. The Toa look GREAT, the animations, short though they may be, still get the story across and make me chuckle from time to time, and there have already been two contests for it. Rome wasn't built in a day, nor was the original BIONICLE. The fans need to have a bit of patience. It's only been out for four months! I believe the Okoto-verse will continue to get better as it goes along. And with the many teases of the Vahi some REALLY interesting stories could be coming our way soon.

Hmm...I suppose they can't have that segment anymore now that Bionicle's back, can they?  I guess it's just because their endless coverage and hype has made it feel like Bionicle's been back longer. I mean, they reported about the summer sets at the end of January. Half the world didn't even get the first wave yet at the time!

I guess the important part is to have focus on what's going on right now in the new Bionicle, or else fans'll just get impatient with the brand. I love the simplified art style, and just that they're doing animations for the line again. I know it's nothing cinematic, but I remember whenit was a luxury to have canon tie-ins like that! I mean, at least with interactive stuff in the latter years that wasn't really used for the official story...

True. The BCC was following since the leaked images a year ago. It does feel like it's been out forever.
