Description
I decided to draw something impractical and purely decorative after going though the gallery of *Wen-M . It was rather liberating. As a subject, I unburied a character named Colbain that appeared to me in a dream in 10th grade and, erm, spruced him up a bit. It was great excercise. :3Colbain (c) Rah-Bop

Incredible artwork, though the background is a bit plain, it grants full attention to the main piece. This design isn't overly detailed, so the details that are in it are easily noticed.

I too, like the specific detail of the wings, but I also must mention that in all other drawings of black and white wings, the white is usually the feathered one. I personally like that black feathered bit and more broadly the uniqueness of this one; I have seen many other pieces of angels or anthros, but this one really stands out. It is a lovely concept and a wonderful picture. Very well done.

Nah. I'm not much of a writer and I don't have any interest in rp. Mostly I just draw him as the mood strikes me.

Aw, thanks. I try to be constructive, and that was a good day for being articulate I guess. ^^ Actually, my (not so) inner science geek was looking at the clasps on his flight feathers and saying "Well, they're pretty and all, but they'll screw up his lift and everything! How will he fly?!" But the rest of my mind was like "Shut up" and sat on it. This sort of thing tends to happen to me quite often. -_-; I try to ignore it.

A very awesome character design. As someone above me in the comments noted, the color reversal on the angel wing and the demon wing is quite novel. The demon wing has very good details- the structure looks anatomically correct from what I can tell, and the veins are a nice touch. The feathers on the angel wing are the best I've ever seen. Their shape and the way the membrane folds and splits is completely realistic.
The only thing that seems off is the shoulders (they seem like they should be a little wider), but it's hard to tell with the armor.
