It's super rare when I'm able to post something from work... Our boss did a little concept art challenge. The goal was to create characters that are very easy to read. We made a little lottery and I picked "archetype - trickster, social class - high, universe - historical/fantasy". I hope you like it!Related content

I love this. This oddly matches some thoughts I've been having related to the trickster archetype and the necessity for someone to bring madness to shake down the tyranny of tedium in the world, in the hearts of people. Both of them look so classy, and almost universal- I mean to say, I could imagine them at home in a king's castle or in a mobster's bar, keeping illegal hooch safe.

I love them - very cool. Reminds me of a Fox and a Cat from Pinocchio, which is good because indeed it's easy to 'read' them.

The most difficult thing was to not make them as typical pair of evil villains but just some shady and mischievous characters

I think they have something villain-ish about themselves but fore sure you can tell they are also playful, witty, clever and so on. I think the male chara would use some hypnosis skills with that wand of his.

i znowu niepotrzebnie męczyłam się z angielskim
Zanim wykonałam te dwa rysunki, zrobiłam kilka innych propozycji, między innymi hipnotyzera z wahadełkiem i obłudnego kapłana. Za wskazaniem grupy poszłam w w najbardziej jednoznanczą stronę. W każdym razie bardzo fajna zabawa, szkoda że nie robimy tego częściej.
