i watched the video and yeah it is interesting but there needs to be a much longer explanation that talks more about politics and economics in detail. he made some good points but it seems like such a complicated topic, which is whyΒ i don't believe in "the earth can only hold x people" because there's no way to tell what x is. and if governments decided to guess what x is, then the solution is toΒ create laws that kill people or force them to be sterilized or forced abortion. and the people who create those laws will not apply them to themselves or their family and friends. it's always going to be other people. the people in power will force other people to not have children or even to die. and that's what makes me upset.
i remain hopeful that the earth is not about to be overpopulated. technology advances as time goes on, so, people can create better farming methods. and americans hopefully will get our obesity epidemic under control because hey that's a lot of wasted food there >__< plus i still think if governments in third-world countries would be less corrupt there would be more resources for everyone.
and also it's not like the population of the world will suddenly increase overnight. so everyone will learn to adjust and adapt as the population changes gradually.

aaah my problem is that i spend more time dreaming and not enough time actually doing! i'm a huge daydreamer... i have so much in my head and i wish people could see ;__; it's painful lol

I can relate to that. I have lots of interesting scenes in my head. It plays out like a movie. The best action and dialogue is all over the place there, but when I'm typing I don't match what's in my head.
I really need to pay attention to those scenes so I can write them down. That'll be my best reference ever.
