Look! COLOR!While revisiting these characters and my original human designs, I realized that Dory\'s story, if put in human perspective, would make her literally \"homeless\". She would therefore be dirty and in unkempt clothes showing wear-and-tear, with hair clips she has found over time, which is why they are all different, and of course, her black hair is beginning to grow at the roots and show her hair before getting such a spontaneous and wild dye-job (as all her actions would be similarly...random).
ALSOOO, I realized that the only equivalent Nemo-napping antagonist would be aliens. I don\'t think this really needs explanation, and I am very tired.

The bottom line is: the parallel to the Nemo-nappers needs to be of a different species, society, and world overall with superior cognitive intellect. Aliens seem to be the only ones to fit this description! or at least the most realistic or fitting parallel to me. C:

It is clear that, to have the best parallel to the original story, those who capture Nemo must be of a different species and world; in the original, Nemo is "saved" by ignorant humans who know little if anything about the society in which our protagonist live, and are of a completely different species of animal.
Therefore, any human wouldn't make any sense, and no other animal on this planet compares to our societal developments in such ways that would give them the ability to inadvertently kidnap and capture a human for a significant amount of time (without eating/killing/leaving/etc. them).
I hope this isn't too confusing!

oh no no I understand why you chose aliens! haha I didn't mean for you to type out such a nice response, I hope it didn't take you very long! but yes I agree, if it had been anything on earth it wouldn't have been an accurate parallel whatsoever. I do wonder though if you've made any parallels for say the humorous scenes in the dentist office?

fantastic ideas! you are fabulous to say the least. I have indeed thought about such circumstances, but have yet to transfer them to paper! I hope to do so soon, but alas, my finals and college auditions are fast approaching. I hope to get more art up here- I'm really quite awful about that. So I shall do my best!
