Ahaha that's true xD But at least grinding is more fun together, even if it takes longer!

You're Racktor or something right? I think I saw or was in a group with you once, but I might be mistaken. It has been a very long time xD. I can hardly remember what my ingame name is. But for some reason I do remember your name, but perhaps it was because you were very active on the forums or were a core member of the community in that way.
I was on the RP server. Think my dragon was called Tiili Teisol. Fortunately I do have screenshots!

Is the community active these days? Are there more new players, or have older players came back? I think one of the main reasons why I stopped was because it was so quiet most of the time.

I'm Racktor, yep! I don't really recognise your name though sadly, but I was super active in the forums, so that's likely how you knew me.

The community's definitely active and new and old people are coming in all the time. Unfortunately... Order isn't what it used to be, to put it lightly, and I'm on Chaos now, but I still play and there's still new content coming in all the time. The new content coming out is A+ and there's been some live raids, even raids with the developers RPing with us.

Eee, no need to be sorry! :'D It is quite alright! I mean, look at me, I reply days past. One cannot be expected to reply to all comments on the day! I hope you had a wonderful vacation and 4th celebration if you're of the US! :'D

Gosh, that sounds absolutely amazing though x.x I am sorry to hear about Order. I guess it's the naughty folks that's ruining it? Or inactivity?
Does that mean that people are roleplaying on Chaos as if it was an official RP server? If so, then I might actually seriously consider returning, or making a trial account just to test the waters. I am a bit sad that I'd lose all my work on my char on Order, but perhaps it is also a good thing to start fresh xD It's so cool that the developers are still adding content to the game   

How on earth does RP with the developers work? O.o Is the same developers still around from ~3 years back when I played?

It's mostly just inactivity, really. My hypothesis is this: the EU crowd was slowly dying out for years and so the final bits of it decided to leave last November. After they transferred off (3-5 people), the early-morning / late night US crowd felt a hit to the numbers they see online, got bored and lonely, and also left or transferred. This pattern continued with the dying timezones closing in on the primetime US times, which it finally hit around March, when the last of the majority of active Order folks gave up and copied over to Chaos. 

People do RP on Chaos though, if not directly in public nor do they assume public chats are RP by default. After all, it's still the regular play server, but the RP channel is active at times and there's a good amount of people that hang out in it.
You don't have to lose your character, though; you can always transfer or copy it. ^^ Though that does cost extra

RP with the devs is usually during raids; one of the raid devs plays a sort of benevolent descendant of Drulkar who aids the Gifted, while another plays an undead Aegis general. The latter used to be Order's raid dev before Order died out, so she doesn't do as much RP anymore, but beforehand, she used to hang around ICly as the attacks happened looking like a zombie dragon, insulting the Gifted and picking fights with people as she spawned enemies. So sort of like normal people RP but... with 'im going to spawn enemies on your head' added?

It's sort of the same devs though. AmonGwareth, Deforian, Yfelvik, Frosthide - they're still around. However there's a lot of new ones too - Cegaiel, Liseth, Alcuina, Sarsilas, Stellath. Velea quit a few years ago as well.

That does sound very likely! I would be surprised if that wasn't how it happened.
