Um, so here's the thing. I need to learn how to do digital art, or be left behind. Turns out, I can't do it

I am reasonably proficient with canvas and paint (*Looks wistfully at roll of 400' of canvas and beaurau of acrylics*) but I have the utmost respect for digital artists...it is just beyond me!

Eh, not so much. Rather than turning on a computer and drawing, I grabbed a stylus and iPad and treated it as though I was drawing on paper.
Talking to an uncle who is 'in the biz' as it were, apparently he still draws pencil and paper, then scans and colors. Hehe. It made me feel a tad better
It is something I WILL learn though!

Thank you very kindly, but even this is taking a stylus and doodling on an iPad in a sketchbook app. Sticking it over a great texture hides a lot of sins

Even so it looks great and there's a lot of potential there and there are many types of digital art, you just have to experiment and find one that works best with you.

Ya physical objects that you can draw with, I know that feeling. there's nothing like feeling the graphite pencil scratch on a blank piece of paper.
