Well I wasn't initially gonna make new designs for these two but then I saw the new Ace Trainer designs for ORAS and the rest is history...I didn't want to just stuff them into the ace trainer outfits, so I came up with similar outfits for them to wear instead while trying to keep to their color schemes. I also tried to include elements from both the old and new designs for May and Brendan. Their bios haven't really changed much from four years ago, but since this is after their time in Unova, I updated to reflect that. (jesus god dancing christ it shouldn't be that hard to make text links dA what the fuck)

every time i look away dA changes another feature that wasn't broken
and yeah!! It's supposed to signify that he's traveled to every region except Kalos haha :'D Laura's only been to Orre and Unova. Maybe one day they'll make it to Kalos...
And yyyyyep, that is indeed a Heatran. I had an idea for a side story where Terry and either Hikari or Mitsumi explore Stark mountain together but idk if I'll ever flesh it out. I kinda wanted to give Terry a legendary b/c Laura has two ahaha
