Sad realization is almost all cars will eventually see this fate eventually. Some might make it to showroom floors and some will be held on to and passed on, but even they will eventually wind up someplace like this.

Sad but true, the number of restored or perfect originals or even perfectly executed customs that I have found languishing in wrecking yards or back alleys or fields like this is staggering, I buy the ones I can get, often not doing anything with them myself but pass them on to the next owner who will.

There are a lot of them around, but I also see a lot of the Fords and Dodges but they seem to get driven into the ground, where as the GMs seem to have less less mileage due to haveing issues being less reliable (acording to orginal owners I have talked to)

I was recently talking to a gent in Brazil, and I realized that Canada, USA, Mexico and Australia are basically the only places where you'll see this sort of thing, the rest of the world has too little space, and too strict scrapage laws....
I personally love to see these old trucks, and I have fixed far, far worse so I see a lot of potential here too!

here we just have densely packed scrap yards, its alright for small parts but not a whole car and people tend to keep car parts and pass em around.
dumped cars never get left around, here i would never find a car thats been still for decades like this lot. theres a place i know thats full of dead cars all owned by one guy but he keeps buying more and more and never gets round to sorting em out.

I like to find vintage cars out in the "bush" I recently found a 1925 Ford model TT truck, I'm buyinh it in a week or so, it's one of the best I have ever seen! I'm getting it because I just don't see them at all anymore.
As far as cars in the UK, I'd ove to get an Escort Cosworth or Cabrolet that has failed inspection there (very easy to make even a rusty car pass here, and because rust does'nt automatically fail a car here there are a lot more people like myself who have the skill-set to repair them!)
The stricter scrapage laws in Germany make it hard for enthusiasts in other countries o get parts for German cars, I have a 1959 Ford Taunus 12M Super and I need a new windscreen desperately....

I know guy who ships minis a lot from the UK, he said I could go through him to ship one if I found it!
The big thing would be if I could get one here legally....
