My daily sketches on tumblr .oh goodness, I have a new OC that I can't seem to stop drawing for some reason. that hasn't happened in years. I still haven't named her properly yet though....i can't seem to think of a good name for her other than "tree" lol....any suggestions? I'll be posting more of her so...yes -v-;~

I just thought I might recommend Elanie, a variant on a Hebrew name (base is Elana) meaning tree (I know, too obvious and not cool enough....)
These drawings of her have been very cool! That brush pen works really well, as medium...., and I love the hair and other details like where her hair seems sorta rootlike...

This is beautiful, I'm really loving your traditional sketches as of late. Thank you for posting them here as well for those of us who don't have tumblrs
I'm going to bug you with names now. You're probably going to regret asking 
The first ones that popped to mind for me were Aspen and Maple, as they're both very pretty names for trees

As for a name you could always use a name of a tree
such as maple, Ash, Camillia etc....

Randa = Scented Tree in Arabic
Pomona = Fruit Tree in Latin and is the Roman goddess of fruit trees
Taimi = Sapling or Young Tree in Finnish
Melia = Ash Tree in Greek derived from Honey and are nymphs of ash trees which are called Meliae or Meliai
Ornella = Flowering Ash Tree in Italian
Lina = Palm Tree or Tender in Arabic
Elowen = Elm Tree in Cornish
Kalina = Rowan Tree in Bulgarian
Elah = Oak Tree in Hebrew

I agree with lots of others, she should be named Willow (mainly cuz she has long draping hair that reminds me of a willow tree
