Description Here squawks Rinchenia mongoliensis, before a tepid Nemegtian marshland. He is making much fuss.

Technical stuff: The piece was drawn in two sections, with the main animal in graphite using a Koh-i-noor .3mm pencil, while the background was drawn with a Pigma Micron 005 pen, then enlarged by 200x (or so) (which is why the line seems thicker). They were merged on tow separate layers and I had to somewhat modify the line-art to fit, as it is actually the top layer.

No offense man but the background kind of ruins it, it takes attention away from the awesome of the actual drawing. Why did you include it?

Upon reflection and consultation, I have agreed you are correct. I included it originally to give a form of framing, which is atypical in "realistic" works, and was thus attempting to be "artistic." It was a "try." I will post a modified version.

LOL, and of course you would say trimming it a bit would help. It was a try, anyway.

This is so beautiful. What's it fussing about?

I have no idea. It's just what it looks like it's doing.

To me, it seems that it is doing what it would do every day: squeak once in a while because it's found an abominable centipede, which it then picks up with its indomitable beak.

As good a reason as any.
