About

Casey is the firstborn son of Applejack and the late Trenderhoof. Because of his biological father’s death prior to his birth, he’s only heard stories of Trender and the love he had for his mother. Due to the circumstances at hoof, Trouble Shoes took on the role of Casey’s father figure once Jackalynn was remarried to the dashing rodeo clown. Casey accepts Trouble Shoes as his father and calls him as such.

The broad bellied stallion specializes in gourmet moonshine! This is of course illegal within Equestria without the proper licensing, but lucky for Casey he has his distillery hidden deep within the forest behind his house in Sweet Apple Acres. A true chef always samples their work, and Casey would do no less! He unfortunately has a bit of an addictive personality and tends to get drunk off of his own product; romping around the hidden camp and laughing alongside his best friend Retro who encourages the big guy’s behavior.

Casey is known around Ponyville mostly for his infamous romance to his once fiancé, Coffee Cake. They were the kind of couple most pony’s envied and were high school sweethearts. Casey always manages to bring out the best in Cake, even to the point of who she was before she bathed in the toxic pool of high school fame. Nobody truly knows why she called off the wedding and even more were shocked to see her pick up with Casey’s best pal, Retro Dash. The large Clydesdale isn’t one to hold a grudge and doesn’t seem to blame his best friend for his loss of a future wife...

The kind soul isn’t just known for his tragic love life thankfully, he’s also known to be an excellent big brother, a jokester always prodding on for a laugh, and an excellent buck horse when rodeo season comes around. Teaming up with the Minotaur, Buckeye, the two make excellent rivals who never fail to entertain!

All of the local fame put aside, the Applebuck’s have a family secret that may soon be brought to light with the return of Queen Luna and her son Prince Somber Moon, as well as with the snooping of the ever so shrewish Princess Persephone Eris...
