Continuing, so far.

How've you been? Up to your ears in theater work?

Getting to do any riding this summer?

Well it's been a while! Haven't been on deviantart in over a year, looks like. I recently went riding for the first time in 3 years! Got to ride a friesian, do some jumping, some bareback stuff, lots of fun!

It has certainly been a while! I'm hardly on here myself anymore, but it's great to hear from you.

You went three years without riding?? O.o Sounds like you made up for it in style though. Friesans
are just plain awesome. A horse doesn't need to be any prettier than that, in my opinion.

How's school? How's life? Still chilling in Indiana?

I think my black cat might have been part siamese too [link] [link]

He certainly had the voice for it...

pyrrhite In reply to oskila [2013-05-02 03:24:09 +0000 UTC]

He had the ears for it too, I think Siamese mixes often turn out black.
He was a handsome guy.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

oskila In reply to pyrrhite [2013-05-02 20:03:39 +0000 UTC]

Makes sense since most siameses are really black but the color doesn't quite kick in.

He might still be alive. My ex took him with her to her new apartment and one night he didn't come back from his stroll. Although traffic is the most likely reason, some nice lady might have taken him in, in which case he'd be 8 years old by now.

pyrrhite In reply to oskila [2013-05-02 21:03:34 +0000 UTC]

Let's go with the nice lady option.
Or even a nice guy.

Yes, a nice guy is just as nice

FuzzyHoser [2013-05-01 02:19:05 +0000 UTC]

Lily halfway reminds me of my Marley. They have the same sincere look to them. That's a nice lookin' cat, too.

pyrrhite In reply to FuzzyHoser [2013-05-01 12:57:56 +0000 UTC]

Lily is relentlessly honest. Except when she's not.
Probably Marley's like that too.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FuzzyHoser In reply to pyrrhite [2013-05-01 15:19:20 +0000 UTC]

Oh, yeah. Marley doesn't have a dishonest bone in her whole body. She's pure and sweet and all things good in the world, 'cept when she digs for moles and leaves bugs in Casey's feeding dish. I have me a soft spot for Lily.

Two of my cats just love dogs. The dogs are the ones that need encouragement not to be scared.

Yeah, the dogs eventually stopped being freaked out and even enjoy
a little inter-species grooming now and then. Thanks Doug.

One of my dreams: good friendship between dog and cat!
Wonderful picture! Lily and Garnet are just beautiful!

RainySkyz [2013-04-29 05:41:34 +0000 UTC]

Sweet! And both look perfect together in that color scheme, as well as on the colors of the pillow. Lily is adorable and so good to accept Garnet. Garnet is like "Oh, I'm safe here... this dog'll protect me." Though isn't garnet the color of red? Or maybe Garnet hasn't been out in the sun for some time, needs a bit of bleaching? Kidding. He's really pretty. I never had a solid black cat. Only mixed colors of: b/w, gray/w, gingers/marmelaids/creams, calico, Siamese choc, Siamese seal, (babysat a few years an all gray longhaired), b/w/cream/tan stripes, and Umber who was not quite calico and not quite tortie but quite a lot of colors/stripes/spots. Oh, I did have an all-white cat. (I may have left out a color or two.)

The kitty looks a lot like one of my black kitties.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

pyrrhite In reply to beeswingblue [2013-04-29 02:15:46 +0000 UTC]

They tend to do that.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

beeswingblue In reply to pyrrhite [2013-04-29 02:21:52 +0000 UTC]

My daughter says that my two kitties (both black, both half-Siamese) look completely different. And they do (mostly). But I admit, at a distance, they half-blur enough to look like one another. Unless the cat is belly up, like your Olive. Then, it's definitely Ninja. The other one has no brain cells but a little more dignity. But only a little more.

pyrrhite In reply to beeswingblue [2013-04-29 02:27:54 +0000 UTC]

I suspect Garnet of being part Siamese, because of his big ears and heart-shaped face.
His purr is loud but luckily his voice is not.
Dignity without brains is a little like being handsome but dorky.
Sort of.

beeswingblue In reply to pyrrhite [2013-04-29 02:31:21 +0000 UTC]

He looks like a Siam to me. And all of my cats have been at least part Siamese. Thank goodness, most of 'em haven't had the yowl.

pyrrhite In reply to beeswingblue [2013-04-29 02:41:58 +0000 UTC]

A little Siamese seems to make for a sweet kitty. Garnet's a punkin really.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

beeswingblue In reply to pyrrhite [2013-04-29 03:08:40 +0000 UTC]

I've always loved my Siams. Punkins, are right. Well, one took a bit to mellow, but that's not surprising with a pound kitty.

Garnet the kitty quite likes dogs, the dogs are never quite sure they return the favor.

My dads dog..rose...stays clear of the cat when we are looking but when we come home unexpected they are laying side by side....as if we can be fooled.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

pyrrhite In reply to dragon-fly-to-me [2013-04-29 02:17:26 +0000 UTC]

Well, Lily is probably thinking something along those lines.
Something like, "something disturbing and unnatural about this...:"
but the kitty loves dogs.

dragon-fly-to-me In reply to pyrrhite [2013-04-30 01:05:53 +0000 UTC]

I think so. Or something like,"what's the odds she has some fish behind that technology??"
So nice when everyone gets along. Nirvana.
