inking a sketch while watching William Holden Moviesedit : now in color. colored in painter 12 (usual suspects, digital watercolor, digital airbrush, glow brush) camo done in photoshop as an overlay and some noise blurred set to overlay and given a 20% opacity.)

I made a little typo, the character's name is actually Samantha Carter and she's portrayed by the actress Amanda Tapping. Yup, I think there's a definite resemblance!

With a 9/10 majority for right handed people, iΒ΄m guessing she is shooting that pistol off-hand. That, let me tel you, is veeeery tricky. So either she is very well trained or just a natural, or the situation is more dire than her expression lets on.

I was shooting a vintage 1911, lemme tell you, hot brass + cleavage = "oh fuck hot!" I forced myself to shoot off handed (right) to avoid that a repeat of that incident.

Ouch, i can sort of imagine as i been the recipient of hot casing down my neck. Damn thing managed to hit that half inch gap between my neck and unifor collar and lodge itself there.

...or it could be the drawing started out flipped at some point ....shhh. ^__^ I tend to flip drawings as I work to keep them from rotting unseen to me, to the right hand bias. If I can get a drawing to work flipped either way then I'm pretty happy. alas, this one I forgot to re flip it at some point and it only works in this direction (I could fix it, but I'm laaazzzy)

oooh. I find the short haired girls harder to draw. I can't hide my poorly drawn neck lines ,ears and skulls under a mop of wild madness. that, and I've been on this kick of drawing ears poking out of long hair like some sort of ground hog surfacing for air.
and yet, the pixie cut is to darn cute in real life. gah. ^____^
