Flat Color reference sheet, as well as a design update. I think I like this one better. Even considering giving her cape back, though that's still up in the air.As for a name... well... I was just running options through my head and this one kinda stuck, so Cindra (or Cindy, if you prefer, she'll answer to either) it is!
As mentioned in a previous post, Cindra is a very outgoing personality. She's friendly, compassionate, easily excited and very energetic. Bubbly, even. Β Like Laurel, she works as a navigator at Maverick Hunter HQ but unlike Laurel, Hunter HQ is entirely unaware of her combat capabilities. Most people are, humans and reploids alike. It's something she guards carefully, only using as a last ditch effort or extreme circumstances. It's caught no few amount of enemies off guard and saved her life a few times from wayward mavericks.
Cindra is a friend to everyone, and she's insistent about it. She is one of the few reploids at MHHQ that Laurel will go out of her way to spend time with, and one of the few who have seen the other woman's softer side. She seems to genuinely care for everyone around her. Hunters under her guidance have an extra incentive to return home just so that they don't disappoint her.

She is looking nice too, maybe even better than Laurel with my bias to cuteness and bubbliness. But I still like them both.
I'm now tempted to design a reploid girl too.

These two have garnered a fair amount of attention, more than I ever thought anything of mine ever would.
Thanks for the comment! She is very bubbly. That's not to say she can't be serious, but she plays up her 'innocent demeanor'. Β She can actually be quite the nasty little manipulator if she wants to.

I like this update! Looks really great, and it's readily apparent that she's a friendly and kindhearted Reploid right off the bat. Colours work really well, love the white and gold highlights with the purple.

Looking good! I like the design changes. Those boots look pretty cool too. I'm liking those irregularly shaped sections with the large red circles. Feels very Japanese, in regards to futuristic design. Agreed about the cape though, I think it would fit authority figures more. Though I guess she can wear it as a cloak when travelling outside.
Anyway, I find it cool that she has hidden combat potential. I like characters that can surprise people in a very badass way.

Well, every 'red' part of her armor is one of those abundant reploid 'gems' that they always seem to be covered in. Β Then again, sometimes I feel like we OC artists forget the simplicity of X's design in favor of the complexity of, say, 'Zero' or the mavericks. I guess that stems from X being the father of 'reploids' and a robot from a previous age. Zero, after all, used to be much simpler in design as well. I've always wondered if he was supposed to look like he currently does from the beginning, or if he was upgraded when his parts were recovered in X2. The latter would appear to be the case if the cutscenes from X4 and Maverick Hunter X are to be believed.
