Wow, there are so many details that you don't notice untl you've looked at it for a while - the faces in the hedge, the fox who looks like he's about to lead her in.
Your penmanship is stunning - I wish I could ink like that! Superb!

Can I ask what the idea behind this is?
When I look at it, it reminds me of me - walking along a normal street, wishing there was another place beside this sidewalk and this modernism - almost knowing that if I looked hard enough, I'd find this mystic castle - feeling caught between real and fantasy.
Anyway, love it!

The contrast and composition of this is wonderful. The contrast bewteen the field and the castle is quite nice. I can never draw large blank spaces well and make them look done.

I do a very quick pencil sketch, usually no more than 5 minutes. I like to leave most of it to my imagination as I do the inking.

And the princess decided she was board of being locked in the highest room in the tallest tower and went for a walk. To the confusion of many knights that stopped by to rescue her that day.

I like it because it looks like the cat is about to run into the hedge and the girl will end up chasing the cat and they'll somehow end up in scary looking house and .... I don't know, but I like to imagine.
