Since I just posted a widescreen Sonic pic, I thought I'd do the same for my other video game love today!

This is what I'd consider a sequel/remake of A Mother's True Love , a scenario where there's my alternate "fan-added" scene in Pokemon Live, of Delia cradling an injured Ash in her arms full of regret on how much her precious little baby was hurt during his battle with Giovanni and MechaMew2. She feels responsible due to her past relationship with the black-hearted Team Rocket leader and expects Ash to be driven away from her by the truth of her past. Mewtwo assures her that none of that matters; Ash sees her for the caring, giving, loving mother she's always been to him since the boy's birth, flashing memories of Ash's childhood and Entei battle in the third Pokemon movie in vain of the "happy memory" attack it used on MechaMew2. Ash slowly wakes up to Delia and Pikachu, and smiles weakly, happy to see they're all safe. Delia starts tearing up with relief, knowing that even after everything that's happened, her son is all right, victorious over Team Rocket and forgives her, just as Mewtwo says.

One reason I felt the need to make this is because my past few pics had very little positivity or smiles from the characters, so I figured I'd lighten the mood and maybe invoke heartwarming tears with this scenario. Ever since seeing more of 's Pokemon comics I've just felt more inspired than ever to include Ash, Delia and Mewtwo all in one pic. Again, I suggest listening to mid-to-late 90's pop ballad songs while seeing this pic, it'll bring on the friggin' waterworks.

Another reason: Veronica Taylor is coming back to a fan expo near me next week and I've prepped this up just for her. The woman's the purest and kindest voice actress I know, and I can't wait to see her again! That's why in the movie theater memory some of the characters she's voiced in the past make cameos: Ribrianne from Dragon Ball Super, Clawdia from Fighting Foodons, April O'Neil from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003, Sirica from Kirby: Right Back At Ya and "lawsuit victim" Max Taylor from Dinosaur King. I feel like it's a good tribute to Miss Taylor's incredible career, even better than my first drawing for her . It still sucks how she got replaced by Sarah Natochenny as Ash, but in a way, it makes me respect and appreciate her even more. And I'm glad I'm able to show it with this pic.

Even though it's a long shot, I'm still crossing my fingers that Miss Taylor lands some participation in the upcoming live-action Pokemon series for Netflix! After all, she did say she was "available".
