All right, time to send our hero kid Trainer from Pallet Town and his Pikachu on another battle against a threat against the Pokemon planet! Here's the skinny:

This is a sequel picture to Confronting the Darkness Within , based on the Armored Mewtwo RP I did with . As you've seen from the previous pic, Armored Mewtwo has taken full control of Mewtwo's mind realm to try to continue it's conquest on the planet and eliminate the influence Ash and Ambertwo left on Mewtwo's heart. The armor is indestructible, only able to be taken off or destroyed by Mewtwo's own free will. Mew sends Ash and Pikachu's consciousnesses into Mewtwo's mind realm to try to battle the Genetic Pokemon's growing inner demons...but there's a VERY dangerous risk: there is a high chance it's a one-way trip. If Ash and Pikachu fail, their souls will be forever absorbed as part of Mewtwo's psychic powers, and they'll never experience the real world again. Never to follow Ash's dream to be a Pokemon Master, never to see his friends, family or Pokemon, they may not be able to even die. Ash willingly chooses to do this however, if it means saving Mewtwo from itself, and saving the world from the armor's wrath. Ash and Pikachu are running down a seemingly endless hallway of Mewtwo's awful, horrible memories, hoping to find ANY sign of the clone they know the most personally out of everyone who's met it. Can the 10-year-old guardian angel of all Pokemon rescue the world's most powerful Pokemon, as well as everyone he cares about?

I have another version of this pic that's closer in tone to the original story me and set up. You can find it here . That version has Ambertwo's angel and Ash has kind of his "bare minimum" in that one, that latter fact was as in the RP, and how wanted it. This picture right here is the "advertiser-friendly, more PC, shareable" version of the pic--in other words, "bowdlerized", similar to how naked Ness in Magicant was made to wear pajamas in EarthBound's US localization. This version was the one I was originally going to post first, but I didn't want to do anything to 's original story if he didn't approve of it. Now that both versions are on DeviantArt, everyone gets what they want.
