It sounds pretty serious, what you experienced and in some way I can see that in your digital painting.

I quite love this style. The contrast between black and white and the Reds gives quite the power to the picture. The "semi realism" for lack of a better term, is also quite lovely. I must ask as well, is there meaning behind the picture?

Thank you so much for saying this.. and yeah, I am going through a bit of a personal hell that's leaving me confused and I can see now that I have been blind to what was happening for a long time. and part of me wishes that I still couldn't see..

While I'm a ware there is only so much the words of a stranger can do, I offer to you a feeling of camaraderie in that hell hole. I know such a feeling oddly well. Non the less eyes open is the thing you could have. Yes there will be pain, but ignorance solves nothing. If you can see an issue, then you can fix it or at least start doing so. I'm aware that it is one thing to say this and acting. That this words might even be considered insensible, but I hold this point non the less. I won't delve into the life of someone I do not know without permission, but if I can provide some help, I'll try to do so.
