Description Husband was playing "Red Dead Redemption" and little bunnies kept hopping across, and my doodle of a rabbit morphed into a rabbit with antlers, which is a Jackalope (which is definitely not real.) Also, the game takes place in the desert (and Jackalopes seem like desert animals, haha) and so I decided to do designs dedicated to the Mexican holiday DΓ­a de los Muertos.

The (poorly) translated spanish:
soy eterno= "i am eternal"
no puedo morir= "i am unable to die"

which I thought was fitting for a mythical creature decked out in designs made for remembrance. If someone knows spanish fluently and wants to correct my terrible grammar, please do!

I thought it would be a cool t-shirt, too.

First of all, I love Jackalopes xD And this one is just too adorable. I like to compliment the designs on the body, since they really make me think of the sugar skulls/calaveritas de azΓΊcar which are a traditional candy for DΓ­a de Muertos.

Fantastic, pronouncedyou. It is especially interesting that a rabbit would be used for a festive Dia de los Muertos symbol, seeing as they are some of the animals most quick to reproduce. If you link blood to mortality (meaning as long as your progeny remains), as long as said rabbit reproduces, IT IS IMMORTAL.

This would make a great tattoo as well as a t-shirt design..

Maybe make it on a skin tone shirt in a black or deep brown hue?

Multiply and flip the cute little thing over the chest or the back shoulder blades to make it look like a biker's tattoo scheme?

I don't know I could be rambling lol when I saw it, tattoo just screamed in me head. I love it~

I'll try playing around with that. That sounds like it would be awesome. I was debating having a mirrored effect, like chest tattoos are but then placing the text would've been awkward.

I think the text could be included maybe in a smile or semicircle fashion? Or if I was to get the tattoo I'd have the words as a ring around my arm or something to that effect.

You know up untill a few years ago I thought Jakalopes were real it wasn't until I saw one in one of those museums of fake creatures that it twigged in my brain that of course there aren't any rabbits with antlers that's just silly... I think it's was mostly wishful thinking that made me believe for such a long time that Jakalopes were real!

I thought they were real for awhile, too. They seem like they could totally be desert animals and use their horns for survival. Like... to pierce a cactus for juice or defense, or SOMETHING LOGICAL.

Your Spanish is fine, "soy" is used for a permament condition as opposed to "estoy" for a temporary condition. "no puedo morir" would prolly be more like "I cannot die" as "unable" has connotations of personal ability rather than condition.

Anyway, we now return to my regular, scheduled silliness...

You should try using Adobe illustrator...would have fitted for this one!

I've been playing Mass Effect I like space more than I like westerns, though if you combine the two they are also awesome. (Like Serenity!)

I have used Adobe Illustrator, but I don't have it on my personal computer and the trial has run out for me. I'm saving up money for it
