Description hehe... Another one in tribute to Barbie's 50th birthday, it's hard to believe she's 50 and still looks so good! (the doll, lol, I'm nowhere near 50 ) I had lots of fun shooting at Disney's Blizzard Beach, and I only got a few weird stares... Guess in 50 years swimwear has changed quite a bit, granted I did have on way over the top makeup and high heels at a water park, so I guess the weird stares were in order I had forgotten I had these awesome Barbie-esque shades that I bought way back before I started working on this costume, I meant to paint them all white like Barbie's but then forgot about them, so I decided the polka-dot worked, and besides, Barbie would probably like them that way

Also, I really despise titling works... feel free to suggest something better for me!

this one was so much fun to shoot! One of the benefits of being a disney cast member I guess Although I'm sure I'm not the only person to ever show up at that water park dressed in high heels, it was still just so strange going in with everyone else in flip flops and towels

Hahahaha, that's always fun to show up like that and see people's reactions. I can't believe that at Dragoncon, despite the fact that it IS Dragoncon, costumers still get the "Duh-Huh" stares.
Thanks for letting me feature the pic on the myspace page!

My Barbie had that bathing suit!1 The doll wasn't well made when it first came out so with all the play it received it was torn-up. Too bad. Being one of the first ones out it would have probably have been worth a lot of cash

aww too bad! But at least you had fun with the doll, I mean that's what really matters, right?

Haha! I knew there was a perfect place for this outfit! Yes, very Barbie-esque (and Barbie Goes To The Beach is a perfectly good title) and very chic!

That is some cool sunglasses and the little pink chair is awesome...lol. Nice barbie pose I think people were staring because they thought Barbie became a real person...lol.

I was kinda worried that I would be denied entrance to the water park for that very reason! Disney doesn't exactly approve of people pretending to be characters (well, except kids of course )

Wow, really? So, if somebody just happens to look like jack sparrow, they wouldn't be allowed into the park?

If they dressed the part and spoke with an accent and had a swagger, and signed autographs and told kids they were Jack, they would be asked to leave... If they see someone dressed to the 9s at the entrance they are supposed to make them go change...

hehe yeah when I took it I figured it would for sure look stupid (I have issues with certain expressions in photographs it seems, and that's totally one of them ) So I was really shocked when I pulled it up on the computer that it looked so fun

Darnit!
You know; I'm going to have to ask for this one downloadable big too!

I just love this outfit. It's so cheesy-wonderful, it's irresistible.

hehe no problem, changed to big version I'll probably put the smaller one back up in a few days, I prefer how it lays out on the page and dA only lets me chose between 400 or 600 pixels wide for full view... They need like a 500px option...

Er, I lost my whole C: drive, including all of the fullsize pics you let me have.

I was wondering if you would remail this one to me?

There's two other ones I'd really really like to have, I might ask on those too.
