The 458 lott would not be the best round for a full auto. It has about a 200 yard max range. Most of the big bore rifles have not so good ballistic, so most dangerous game is taken within 25 yards.

ok, the closest thing you can get in a big bore machine gun is a Colt 1883 Gatling Gun, which takes 45-70gov rounds. the 45-70gov takes the same type of bullet as the lott, just it is a shorter case and it is limited to only 300-400grain bullets. they are both .458 sized bullets.
colt remade and re-released a limited number of the 1883, but they are going for a good 40k. but they are super sexy.
