Description Just wanted to post a picture of the beauty I picked up in a local gun store. A .303 Enfield MK3*. Its marked as Made in 1918. Its still in great condition and I'm just waiting for the ammo to come in the mail so I can shoot it. If only I still had my NO4 MK1 still..... But thought I'd share a good shot i caught on my phone.

Beautiful rifle! This is the exact type I need to get to put my Model 1907 sword bayonet on. If I ever get the luxury of collecting guns again that is.

How much did it cost you?

$300 dollars. I just ordered a sword bayonet for this one as well.

Not too bad of a price for a old rifle, considering Mosin Nagants are even getting close to that range. *sigh*

I originally got my sword bayonet without the scabbard and ended up getting a reproduction for it, tight fit however.

I had an old table in my backyard that I'm soon to burn but it made a perfect base for the shot.

At least you'll have a photo of it!
I've fired one of these old Lee Enfields, it had quite a kick.

I have an original Bayonet coming for it and its also made in 1918 so ill have the complete package. I do need to pick up some stripper clips as well. When I had a No4 MK 1 Enfield I used it to Deer hunt. It was all original and was not sporterized. I Killed my first deer with it standing through the brush when I was a kid. I love the .303 British round. My dad has the MK5 Jungle Carbine version. Its much lighter and the thing will knock your shoulder off if your not ready for the recoil.

especially for the low price of $300 but I have had to spend $80 for the matching sword bayonet 17in blade.( no rifle is complete without the toothpick attachment) The Ammo is what kills me 100 rounds of .303 british is about $100 so basically a dollar a round but I don't plan to shoot it a lot just want to feel like I'm in the trenches for a little bit. also little coincidence at the time I typed this i looked over to the right and the picture had 303 views.
