Drake stepped out of the limo and peered up at the daunting building in front of him. The black marble high-rise, Nuit Noire, was all too familiar to him. Also known as the “The Dark Tower,” this was the residence of some of the world’s most infamous villains and was also his childhood home. He nodded toward the limo driver, Jeff, and that was his cue to drive off.

The older teen walked into the building with his normal villain gear without even a second glance from any bystanders. It was always known of the wealthy locals of the financial district that what happens in or around Nuit Noire, stays at Nuit Noire. Well, unless they wanted some trouble at their doorstep. Drake continued through the lobby until he reached the front desk. A jaded young woman sat there playing with her hair. She was probably the daughter of a low-ranking villain or mobster.

“May I help you, sir?” She asked, still looking bored as could be.

“Yes, I’m asking about apartment 613. Is an Evelyn Hale still living there?”

Finally going back to the main story after all the contest stuff. It's a bit shorter than the last two fics, but that's mostly cause it's been sitting as a draft for months and I'm tried of looking at it. Was supposed to cut to what Alisha and Xiang are up to, but I'll just add that to the next part so it should be a long fic. I would have uploaded this a few days ago, but I wasn't really in a digital art mood... but I did manage to throw this together real quick... it's kinda a mess but that's what all the covers kinda look like lol

In this episode we find out some more details about one of our two major main characters, Drake. Sedusa aka Best Mom makes her official debut, and we get some background about the creation of the Drake and the Alliance. And we already knew Chase was some kind of eugenics freak, but it's finally confirmed here. If you didn't like him already then... yikes... get ready...

Next, it's switching back to Kingsley's storyline with Losing Trust. Eventually the two storylines combine but I seperate them this way in the first place so I wouldn't get bored with writing a linear story.
