"Hey," Valerie said when he saw her friend's eyes drifting close. "Come on, G. Stay with me."
Not caring if anyone saw at this point, Valerie deactivated her own suit before sitting Gregor up against her. She then hugged him from behind and held him as close as possible in order to warm him up. She didn't know if it'd make a difference or not, but she was afraid to let him pass out.
"Talk to me," she encouraged. "Tell me about this ghost boy. What has Agent C told you?"

The Muse gave us a whole chapter with all kinds of amazing, and what do I draw? Gregor, of course Gregor.
What can I say? I'm a sucker for furious, red-eyed, Gregor. His hair even got messed up, lol. Valerie is nothing short of precious -- especially in this scene. She really is too innocent. Poor baby. This was going to just be a simple sketch, but then I got carried away with the colors. It was tons of fun. Here's the outline -- you can see the drawing a bit better there, and here's a grayscale version . It is pretty cool, I think (I was tempted to just upload that one-- but I worked too hard on those colors not to display them!).

Amazing. Such a powerful and intense drawing. Beautifully colored, and the expressions and poses are fantastic. You can really feel the anger, frustration and raw emotion coming from Gregor. His red eyes, his expression, his wild hair. He's so angry, feeling humiliated and beaten by the Ghost Prince, someone he already seems to have a grudge against. I believe this scene was after Danny had frozen him when defending his father? You can really feel his emotions radiating through the screen.
Valerie is also beautifully done. She feels so innocent, it's like there's a contrast between them. Innocence versus anger. Both care deeply for each other, and when I see this picture of them I can't help but feeling I want to both give them a hug. The melting and shattered ice is also a very nice touch.
I really like Gregor as a character in Dawning of a Sun. He's so intriguing, he has multiple sides to his personality and I always find it interesting to read about him. At this point he's up there with Danny. He has done bad things, he has a dark side yet at the same time I feel so sorry for him.

Ah, I love gregor in this scene. I love that dramatic irony of Valerie thinking that Gregor is this innocent kid, when he's literally thinking of wanting to murder phantom. Just, the idea of him unable to face her lest she see the red in his eyes... I love the symbolism. It's really sad, but so fascinating to think about.

Gregor is my favorite character! I love how you capture his personality and emotion just right in each picture! The last chapter was so intense. All he wants is to please Tom and his master. This picture just profiles that so well.

DoaS is such a teeny subfandom it needs as much attention and art as it can get! And I'm happy to illustrate for all of us. It really does make me happy that other people like my art-- especially that of Gregor.

This drawing is EPIC. Just wow! Man, you just love this kid so much, don't you? Him and Valerie are always your best works! And this drawing his both of them! 
You might think me weird but my favorite thing about this drawing is the droplets and the melted ice all over Gregor. It looks so real and you can just see Gregor just went through a very unpleasant experience.
That face! He is so angry. His wild hair and bright red eyes. It is raw. Can Gregor look any scarier than this? Just wow. You can feel the kids frustration, anger and fear at this moment. Gregor definitely does not like to lose, and he absolutely hates that he got beat by Phantom, no less.
Interesting how Gregor hates with such intensity a kid he's only encountered twice in his life. But it's what Danny is, represents, and has unknowingly done to Gregor that makes him such a focal point of hate for Gregor. And you can see that on his face in this drawing.
Yes... Valerie is so innocent, isn't she? For a girl who hates with close to as much intensity as Gregor, she has no clue. Like Gregor said, she is innocent to the evil in humans. She has no idea just who she is hugging and trying to protect. And that's what I love about Gregor and Valerie. They have this deep need to protect each other, and yet they both live a lie.
But the beauty and conflict of their relationship is portrayed perfectly in this drawing. Just look at them. You want to hug them and yell in frustration at the same time.
Heh. You know, I had a feeling you'd draw this scene. As I wrote it, I thought of you and smiled. I thought, Oh Dreama is gonna leave this scene.

The lights are the easiest thing to do. Just put colored light on the top layer (above the outline) with a soft brush, and set it to Add (glow) at about 70% opacity
It's the same thing I did with this guy (his was just gray light, tho, I used a coral color in this one)
