Blehhh, titles XDDDMy part of an Art Trade with Wolf250
It was tough choosing a character, but Espitit was really epic, and he also has his ravens Huginn and Muninn.
I hope you don't mind me adding the crazy mystical magical lines coming from the ravens, but I wanted t get the feeling that they're flying around Espirit and that they're kinda magical birdies, but the feathers weren't enough so I added those ^ ^
This was really fun to draw. I do very realistic wolves (without powers) most of the time, so doing something like this way really fun.
AND I LOVED DOING THE SKY ASDFGHJKL SHINEY BLUEISH CYAN STUFF YAYYY!

Espirit/Huginn/Muninn (C) Wolf250
I know some people might ask, but no, Huginn and Muninn aren't exclusively characters from Off-white. Wolf250 has characters formed after them too. They are two ravens that belong to Odin in Norse mythology. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huginn_a… .... So, yep.

The atmosphere in this picture is fantastic, and I love your shading ! Also, you did an amazing work on the ravens' movement !

How do you get the shiny effect that is coming off the fur

I used an overlay filter with a bright cyan. I did end up lowering the opacity a bit in this one. But usually it's pretty darn bight. You can also you the luminosity filter. That gives is a really sharp shiny effect. I absolutely love it.
Just play around with it. The filters/"blend modes" also work better with a color that is used a lot in that area. It picks up the color/tone thats used beneath it and multiplies the shineyness. Just play around with it. SAI has some pretty darn cool blend modes.
Then I also usually take the finished piece into photoshop and adjust the contrast and add a couple more filters for the greatest artistic impact. It just makes it pop more :3
Since PS has so many blend modes you can make it look really, really cool!

You're welcome. I know someone would come along and be all like "blah blah blah, they copied off-white bleh blah blah blah." Off-White is based on Norse mythology as well, so I'd think people would make the connection. Maybe XD
But I love Huginn and Muninn <3 They're such cool ravens! I love all the designs of them around.
