Oh I thought you made the lineart in pc and then you scanned to retouch it! Im thinking to move to full digital. Which brush in PS you use for lineart like in this pic?

I don't know enough about its habitat, but I don't think a digging/fossorial lifestyle and a semi-aquatic one are mutually exclusive. Some turtles burrow underwater, and a ton of animals at the very least dig underwater to find food- as far as I can tell it's possible it did both. With this reconstruction though I'm going with "terrestrial digger" for the overall look.
