Upgraded version of pralinkova-princezna.deviantar…I learned a few new tricks, I might do another tutorial or at least a reference sheet on merging modes in GIMP.
The highlights were the most troublesome, it took me a long time to find a way that didn't look terrible and still shiny (coz I love shiny hair. ^^)

Advanced Critique
I would suggest for 'cutesy' type pictures that you stay away from dull colors. The sky's color is kinda dull, and could use a little saturation. I don't mean turn the saturation up to the max, just give the background some kind of life next time
(If this critique wasn't good, don't be afraid to tell me... I won't bite!)

I can see your point with the background, but I chose this because it gives me a feeling of freedom and calm atmosphere, if you knew this character, she is not often like this, most of the time she has temper tantrums and shoots from big guns.. XD However, I like her sweet side so that's why. Anyway, thanks again!
