Polytropic — Clay East Sea Gastrodon

Description More Sculpey clay. Gastrodon is about two and a half inches tall and is bulked out with foil. Acrylic paints and satin glaze.

Gastrodon was more difficult than I expected--I think because it's kind of a blob without a lot of body structure or landmarks. It took forever to get the proportions to look right, and I still think the neck is a little short or something..

Aww, thank you. When I started making clay things, I didn't expect painting to be so much more work than sculpting!
