Description WARNING: BLUR PHOTO QUALITY AHEAD!

Photo taken from Singapore Toy and Comic Convention.

Figure is Kamen Rider Ryuuki from "Kamen Rider Ryuuki", under "Super Imaginative Chogokin" (SIC).

The auto-focus (AF) of my IXUS-70 is pointing in the wrong direction. X_X Hence the bluriness.

Even I don't know how to fix in Photoshop CS; the filters don' seem to help improve it better.

I NEED YOUR INPUT AND HELP ONTO FIXING THIS PHOTO IF POSSIBLE. If not, AT LEAST pinpoint to me WHAT CAN BE IMPROVED~!

Thanks.

Unfortunately, there are limits to what software can do...

Agreed. I thought that this has nothing to do with out-of-focus.

But that realisation was too late. Oh well, better shooting next time then

One other thing I do (since my digicam isn't that great) I'll take three or four pictures of the same item, that way I can weed out bad shots. I don't know how realistic that is, for you. Repeated flash photography can be annoying to others...

For me, you know that I am unsteady when it comes to camera shots, so sometimes, out of say 5 to 8 shots, I can get only 1 or 2 right or in-focus. Even then, I might change my mind sometimes so that I can get a more "artistic" shot. It depends on situations, but that's also the sme tip one of my friends told me about. Thanks for sharing

Ah, cool, with my old film camera I tried to take a few long-exposure pictures without the benefit of a tripod. That was a lesson in futility! =x.x=

Just make sure you have a big memory card so you don't run out of "film" Good luck! =^^=

You could probably try to increase the sharpness,I don't know if that would actually help though.

I think the original photo had the focus out of place, so there is no way I can repair in the first place. Well, increasing the sharpness via PS-CS would give very minor improvements, but the graininess would be severe...

Hmmmm, well another word of advice is to just mess around with any piece of photo-repairing filter on there, but I also doubt it'll do any good.
