Maybe not all depictions of prehistoric life have to be "innovative" or "wow, this is cool speculation", simple or conservative compositions are just as good, and often better than crazy displays or behavior.

Yep, and I agree on that when it comes to iguanodonts, megalosaurs, tyrannosaurs or similarily "basic" stuff. But Hatzegopteryx is a crazy animal.

Earlier this year a paper by Darren Naish and Mark Witton was published describing a short neck vertebra of Hatzegopteryx.
