can't deny i admire the guy, can i? XD and well, i can totally see that, probing its surroundings with its harpoon-nose, darting forward every once in a while. I am kind of imagining it also uses a sort of inchworm-like movement to quickly get away from danger, it doesn't seem to be born a natural runner... XD

Words cannot describe how much I love your new aliens!
I really like the idea of these pseudo-heads and can’t wait to see what they might look like in bigger animals
ps will you redesign your hexapedal buffalo-like herbivore? I’ve always been rather fond of that design

thank you! I still hope it looks like its own thing, rather than a mashup of animals (although one can only do so much without knowing any actual alien creatures XD)

Of course there are some similarities to Terran animals but that can not be avoided… we take different aspects of the animals we know and rearrange and interchange them to create these alien creatures after all…
the ending result still looks like a totally new creature that could live in an extraterrestrial biosphere

oh! and about the buffallo herbivore... I can imagine it as a horned variant of the ramhopper with more conventional legs in place of the jumping legs?

Oh yes! I have high hopes for Europa as well
I still haven’t given up on Mars though… I still hope and wish that they will find life there…
it doesn’t even have to be multi-cellular organisms (that would be really indescribably awesome though)… I’m already over the moon if they find unicellular organisms
