Description Did this one twice, and I thought I'd share two of my final colorings.  I prefer the brown/red one (non-standard vegetation), but would like to know what other people think!

I used the continent creation method from Arminius1871 's "Habitable Planet Tutorial", along with added continent glow (both new things to me).  Here's the link to the tutorial:

NOTE: For GIMP users, you'll need to turn the Difference Cloud detail level up to max and set the x/y to about 8 each.  The 50% gray layer is #7f7f7f , and don't even try to find the "Hard Mix" layer blending mode in vanilla GIMP.  You'll ned to download the G'MIC plugin (gmic.eu/gimp.shtml ), or the latest pre-compiled version of GIMP from Partha's place (www.partha.com/ ) which has G'MIC pre-installed.

It looks damned beautiful I am happy my tut was useful^^

You should do a tut sooner or later too, I´m sure the people would love it.
Oh and add your artwork to some space groups then more people can see it!

Thanks for the suggestion -- I've submitted a few pieces to different groups, but I worry sometimes whether single planets (without any of the real background drama or scene composition) would make the cut.  By the way, which coloring do you prefer, the green or the brown?

Ach even without background story people like the look^^

I like both, the one looks like a young planet with oceans but no landlife yet,
and the other like a habitable exoplanet to colonize^^
