Managed to make something half way decent in a while. This time inspired by the Finnish Midsummer (though anyone familiar with the Finnish summer will notice a serious lack of rain).In Lapland, the Sun never sets and further South it only dips below the horizon for a couple of hours before rising again. Really cool to look at and useful for long nights out, not so great
for one's quality of sleep if you happen to lack window blinds and thick curtains.

What I usually do is chunk it into 12-bit colourspace. Basically limited to #330044, (#xxyyzz ), each nybble in each colour byte is the same. If a colour works, I may tweak it, but not generally. This pretty much ensures I don't get colours that are all that close together and I get to be creative with dither.

Thanks! I'm not personally too keen on presenting pixel art in something other than 1:1 ratio, unless of course the image is super small.
I'll think about bumping this up to x2, though.
