I still can't believe this guy spent four days with us, sleeping under our spruce out back. Β That was probably three years ago.

A very beautiful capture! I like the way the blured background makes its detailedΒ headΒ to stand out.

What a great experience! I've only seen one in the wild briefly, he was running, so I never got a photo. Thanks so much for posting your photos!

I once saw a coyote trotting through the middle of a herd of bison. Β Neither the coyote nor the bison seemed the least bit concerned, which surprised me. Β But then, bison are herbivores and a coyote is not going to mess with an animal that size. Β It was interesting to see that relationship.

Thanks! Β Having the coyote visitor was a rare treat. Β We also get moose wandering through the back yard once or twice every winter. Β Now that's a sight to behold.
I lived in Pateley Bridge for three glorious years in the '80s and I remember pheasants wandering on to our back step and peering at us through the sliding glass door. Β They were incredibly beautiful.
