After 6 months of thinking, I finally decided to submit this doujin here. 1 page only ^___^-----------------------------------------------------------------
Here's are some things you need to know:
1. I use Anime style for this doujin
2. I work really slow on this doujin, so far I only finished 8 pages
3. I will continue to submit next page depending on how many comments I receive on each pages, no spam plz
4. Do no rush me to finish it, this will make me even slower D:
5. All of Klonoa charaters are OOC (out of character) If you hate it, just comment & I won't submit it again... I make them OOC cuz I hope that each page will make you laugh

Nearly a decade!
Nearrrly a decade since I last went and read this.
Okay okay, all funny stuff aside... I came back to dA recently and have been checking up on old artists I have been following (as well as posting a few of my own drawings too).
And saw this doujin among my few organized art lists (I so badly want to call it a play list, but these aren't videos).
I was kind of a dumb person when I had that back and forth with you those years ago...
then again, I was only twelve. So my naivete and ability (lack thereof) to understand what you were saying were pretty low then.
So hopefully this comment will serve as a proper look back, pros and cons view of the comic.
Now, I just have to get this out of the way that I'm a fairly big fan of Klonoa if I say so myself.
In the time that passed since I was here last, I own physical copies of all 8 Klonoa games.
I've beaten three of them; Lunatea's Veil, Empire of Dreams, and Moonlight Museum.
Even outside of the games I love to see all the art people post here and elsewhere.
I've enjoyed a few fan games, including one that experimented with a first person perspective.
Anyways, before I get more carried away, let's start with the main qualities across the pages.
The quality for each page is consistent, the colors are nice and vibrant, very pleasing to the eye.
The humor is very in line with what you might find in any of the games.
Most fascinating (something I never paid any notice to) is the inclusion of Huepow (The Ring Spirit and Prince of the Moon Kingdom) in the world of Lunatea.
His inclusion was beyond any doubt in my mind a wise one, as he adds an extra bit of humor that otherwise would be either impossible or hard.
Okie dokie, now onto the individual pages.
Starting with this one. So here we go:
The dialogue here is... uh, okay. (sorry, I'm not a good judge, I try my best)
I mean, it's set up well enough. It does it's job and the expressions displayed by both Huepoe and Klonoa are very cartoonish (in the good way) and comedic.
Though I'm a bit confused why Klonoa was looking for Lolo if he didn't already know it was Valentine's Day.
Maybe he was being truthful about just wanting to see her during her priestess training?
The inclusion of Klonoa's more salty vocabulary from the GBA entries (where he gets to say damn) is one that I enjoy quite a lot.
No censorship here, just how I like it.
Feels like an undub of some kind.

klonoa has no normal eyes throughout the comic, making his eyes out to be tiny black dots.
hewpoe stayed in phantomile while klonoa donned the blue t-shirt with the giant zipper and forgot everything

however, this could possibly work IF this took place sometime after dream champ tournament, where all the people were together, requiring that klonoa knows not of leorina, tat, KoS, etc

I really like this so far! ...even though it's just the first page. Maybe the thought of Klonoa x Lolo makes me interested in a heart beat.

Hmm, I am disappointed that everyone will be OOC and therefore it won't feel as much of a Klonoa story as it is a story with Klonoa in it. However, you do have an advantage here simply because of the lack of Klonoa doujin/fan comics (at least on dA). Most of what I've seen is discontinued so I'm hoping that this will continue to update and have a decent story. If the story is interesting enough, I will probably be inclined to stick around and keep reading. The art seems fairly decent; it's better than most of the Klonoa art I've seen on dA. I'm on the fence about how good this will be but I'm willing to stick with this.
