Dartizel-R's Phoenixdex Entry

Millions of years ago New Logora was home to many species of Pokémon that have since gone extinct. Scientists have done their best to revive and recreate many of these species via their fossil remains, and they have had some successes , but the fossils of certain Pokémon remain stubbornly difficult to extract viable genetic material from. (Some experts believe that's because these Pokémon were not Rock-types in life, and that perhaps Rock DNA and such is more easily preserved.) Poké-paleontologists are still curious about how these creatures behaved before their extinction, however, and so they have asked the technological wizards down at DiCadria Enterprises (or DiCE) to create robotic restorations of three particular species.

Dartizel was thought to be a light and speedy Pokémon, so the robotic version by DiCE is just as fast. Without live Pokémon to study the creators had to guess at an appropriate movepool, but they figured that attacks like Pursuit, Fake Out and Blitzkrieg were safe bets for the Dartizel-R model.
