Wow! I love the colouring technique! And you know what I feel is the best part about this?? The fact that her chest is pretty damn flat, in contrast with the rest of the female paintings on dA!.
I love it. The light is amazing, and so is the subtility of her expression too.

Eventhough I like them very much, it's not a necessity.
Anyway, I see now that this picture has a good 3-dimensional aspect. Especially on the shoulder.

Hahaha I see.....Since, DA isn't as discriminating about the work posted as some other sites are, sometimes you just get a lot of big boobies and it ends up like a DOA game (I still like that game even though all the girls look alike physically

Ooh very nice, I love the way the light falls.
The shoulder farthest away (is that even a word) looks a bit strange and such, but that might just be because of the angle.
And I love her nose

Yes I did have some issues there but she is very skinny person so you really see her bone structure and how light bounces off that which can create challenging shapes to try to depict. Yeah, two point lighting is a really good method of illuminating the form for drawing and painting study so that's why I choose a reference picture that had it.

Thank you! ABout the neck, yes i did have some issues with interpreting how the high contrast light was affecting the appearance of the anatomy. Will have to brush up on that.

though the light on the left (viewers) shoulder is too white in the pit near the neck , should be dark not white in my opinion.
the light source is unusual, interesting. cant tell if its coming from behind or in front of the figure. looks good though.
and nice detail for the background, hair, head piece and lips. the eyes look cool but the lips are very nice indeed, attention there

I did use reference for the female, and there are two light sources in the the reference image-- one cool and one warmer which creates interesting contrast. Thanks!
